Is your son being robbed of self esteem?
Recently, I watched a beautiful, brilliant, rising middle school girl transform before my eyes.
As we discussed the beliefs that we have about ourselves based on our experiences with others, as well as our beliefs about ourselves.
We listened, incredulous as this funny, smart, amazing girl shared her belief.
She believed that she was never going to amount to anything because she was not smart enough.
She believed that no one liked her. How could anyone NOT LIKE this wonderful, amazing girl, we wondered?
We watched in joy as those negative beliefs dissolved, replaced by hope and excitement that she was smart, and amazing and totally likable, and anything and everything was possible and available to her, including her dream of one day becoming a plastic surgeon.
What an incredible and moving week, delivering rapid, permanent CONFIDENCE to these beautiful, talented, wonderful rising 5th and 6th graders as they prepare to transition to new stages of life.
I am so grateful that a parent asked me to deliver this program.
